Proven expertise in maritime, port, and VTS domains
Shared System has developed strong expertise combining VTS feasibility studies, the definition of technical specifications, and the design and implementation of maritime and port information systems. We support maritime and port authorities in delivering solutions dedicated to maritime safety, traffic monitoring, and efficient port operations.
Our scope also includes the development of maritime information systems for ship and seafarer registry management, enabling secure and centralized management of regulatory, operational, and administrative maritime data. These systems support vessel registration, fleet monitoring, certification processes, and seafarer career management, in compliance with national and international regulatory frameworks.
Our approach is based on in-depth analysis of operational needs, navigational risks, and regulatory constraints, fully aligned with applicable international standards (IMO, IALA). Where relevant, we leverage advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence to enhance maritime data exploitation, operational visibility, and decision-making.

Our Key Expertises
- technical and operational feasibility studies for VTS systems;
- maritime traffic analysis and navigational risk assessment;
- definition of functional and technical VTS system architectures;
- preparation of technical specifications and tender documents;
- design and implementation of maritime information systems;
- ship and seafarer registry management solutions (registration, certification, tracking);
- solutions for maritime transit, port call, and port operations management;
- interoperability with AIS, radar, port systems, and third-party platforms;
- technical assistance for procurement processes and solution evaluation.

Technical Assistance for the Port of Nouadhibou VTS System
Technical assistance provided by Shared System to review and strengthen the technical specifications of the Port of Nouadhibou VTS system. The assignment ensured compliance with IALA and IMO standards and optimized the system’s performance, coverage, and resilience.
Feasibility Study for the Southern Morocco Coastal VTS System (Tan-Tan – Dakhla)
Feasibility study delivered by CID and Shared System for the design of a coastal VTS system covering over 800 km of Atlantic coastline. The project strengthens maritime safety, traffic monitoring, and marine environmental protection. The study defined an optimized VTS architecture based on risk analysis, RADAR, AIS and maritime radio coverage studies, and detailed technical specifications.
CMIS – Caribbean Maritime Information System
Design and deployment of a regional maritime information system dedicated to Port State Control (PSC) activities across the Caribbean. The platform centralizes vessel and inspection data, improves operational efficiency for inspection officers, and enables interoperability with international maritime systems while supporting real-time reporting and compliance with international maritime conventions.
Regional Port State Control Information System
Implementation of a regional information system supporting Port State Control activities by harmonizing inspection management and data sharing between partner countries. The solution helps authorities verify vessel compliance with international maritime conventions, improving maritime safety, crew protection, and environmental protection through standardized inspection and reporting processes.
Moroccan Merchant Marine Information System (SIMM)
Design and implementation of an integrated information system for the Moroccan Merchant Marine to digitalize administrative and operational maritime processes. The platform centralizes data related to vessels, seafarers, maritime safety, and certifications, improving traceability, regulatory compliance, reporting capabilities, and overall efficiency of maritime administration operations.
